I don’t know if you know this, but I feel like this needs saying. You have made life-long fans out of your performances on Glee. I’m not sure if you understand what that means yet, but you will. We will follow you wherever you go, whatever you do, and we will always cheer you on. You could do plays and we would sell out those tickets. You could do musicals and we would be there to cheer you on when you win a Tony. You could write books and we would buy it enough to make it a bestseller. Or you could retire from the spotlight altogether and we would applaud your choice.
AfterEllen once said, lesbian fans are the most dedicated people out there. If you need any evidence, look to the AfterEllen top 100. The same names show up every year, and not because they’re doing spectacular thing after spectacular thing. It’s because we are fans for life.
